A platform for gifting and gratitude

Project Brief

In partnership with the Centre for Digital media

Emoot is a mobile -friendly web-application plus a digital wallet that allows the user – gifter, to send money in a social and fun way to their circles. It serves as a platform for giving and gratitude.


At Emoot, they’ve flipped the gift card model on its head - they enable gifters to send money directly to their friends, families, and colleagues, without confining them to a specific brand or product. This will allow gifters to reach younger generations who buy and receive e-gifts more often, shop online more often, and use mobile wallets more and more.

The overall vision to support emotional wellbeing through meaningful social connection, especially for youth and young adults.

Our Solution

A minimum lovable prototype that allows gifters to send an Emoot gift card to their giftee with a high level of personalization and customization while offering maximum flexibility for the receiver.
